Booking jobs into Housecall Pro or Google Calendar

The help center says the receptionist can work with your Housecall Pro account during calls, including booking and managing appointments. That needs a Housecall Pro account on a plan that includes API access, and no My AI Front Desk plan is named for it. Otherwise it books on a connected Google Calendar, once at least one service is defined.

The vendor's plumbing page says it triages severity, dispatches your on-call tech and books jobs into your route. No help article documents dispatching a technician, so treat that line as marketing. Calls from the job site and after hours

The vendor's AI receptionist page offers forwarding for all calls or only for unanswered, after-hours or weekend calls. The help center documents Instant Setup, which forwards all calls from the registered number at once, and a manual setup by carrier; it gives no step for forwarding only unanswered or after-hours calls. The receptionist can text a mobile caller a link or confirmation during the call, but a landline cannot receive a text, so a landline caller needs a person or a callback.
